Software Engineer 3 **Sign On Bonus Eligible**

The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real- time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the- shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Master's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university is required. A bachelor's degree and two (2) additional years of SWE experience OR six (6) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a master's degree. Fifteen (15) years of applicable design and development experience is required. Twelve (12) years direct experience leading teams of software design and development for collection systems and components is required. ITILv3, ITILv4, or ITILv5 Certification at any level will meet the requirement, i.e., Foundation, Managing Professionals, Strategic Leaders, etc. 50% need Information Technology:

Experience creating and implementing scripts,
business rules, policies, ACLs and otherwise configure or modify ServiceNow applications to meet requirements
Experience providing advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and performing root cause analysis
Experience integrating third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST and SOAP
Experience coding in scripting languages (i.e.: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JSON or other languages used in ServiceNow)
Five (5) years experience developing on and administration of the ServiceNow Platform is required.
ServiceNow System Administrator certification OR ServiceNow Application Developer certification is required.
