Our Bar/ Restaurant is seeking a talented Bar/ Restaurant Manager with a passion for serving fantastic drinks and delightful food. A good knowledge of the current food and beverage trends, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, enthusiastic demeanor and a genuine desire to care for and serve others. 
Previous management experience in a restaurant/bar is essential to this position. 
The Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the facility in accordance with the vision of a successful bar/restaurant. 
Job duties include the day-to-day operation of the Bar, and Catering which will include hiring, training and retention of associates, communication of information, implementation of revenue generating suggestions/ideas, forecasting revenue and controlling expenses. 
The successful candidate will direct, implement, and maintain a high-end service which serves as a guide to respective staff.  Essential skills include top and bottom-line financial responsibility, inventory management and control, exceptional people management skills, and ability to manage relationships with external vendors such as beverage representatives and entertainment agencies. 

Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: High school diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a vocational course in bartending is preferred. - Minimum Experience: Several years working at a food and beverage establishment, such as a cocktail lounge, restaurant, or bar where alcohol is served and the job entails managing staff  
• You have excellent communication skills, and the ability to speak and connect to people of all kinds  
• You thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment    
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and clearly in stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor

Responsibilities:
• The Bar/ Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, including excellent and efficient customer service, and implementing and controlling cash handling, stock, purchasing, waste disposal and other important operations in a bar
 • Supervises the Bar Team, as well as evaluates their performances and participates in the hiring of new staff, as needed
 • Oversee the training and familiarization of new Bar Team members
 • Plan, create, and administer new staff schedules
 • Conduct regular Bar Team meetings to ensure effective communication, inclusion, and cohesion across the staff
 • Monitor beverage stocks and bar supplies stocks daily or weekly, including price checks, inventories, and managing money, and inform       Team Members about the unavailability of food and beverages, as needed
 • Develop and carry out orders for supplies and cash-up procedures after shifts
 • Develop, implement, and maintain bar operating procedures and systems to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction
 • Be a physical presence at the bar and ensure the highest standard of customer service
 • Facilitate internal communication, as needed, with critical support departments: Operations, HR, Administration, etc.
 • Maintain the ability to work nights and weekends and extended schedules during peak periods
 • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and listen.
 • Check that Guest service standards are set, implemented and monitored, and continuously evaluated
 • Set-up of the outlet in accordance with the pre-determined standards of the operation
 • Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (to recipe) and presented, and how Bar personnel are trained to possess this knowledge and the application of it
 • Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards
 • Deal with sudden staff shortages through absenteeism and report all absences according to Company Attendance Procedures
 • Complete all necessary administration in accordance with Company procedures relating to all staff members
