Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Audit Associate to join our Finance team within the Audit and Assurance Services Group. As a Permanent Audit Associate, you will be responsible for handling the audit process for our clients in the non-profit and banking sectors. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the finance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the audit process for non-profit and banking clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Identify and assess risks and controls in client operations
• Develop and execute audit plans and procedures
• Analyze financial statements and audit findings
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders
• Provide recommendations for improvement in client operations and controls
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices

Qualifications

CPA preferred
3+ years of experience auditing nonprofit organizations
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to drive business development efforts
Experience preparing and/or reviewing 990, 990T and accompanying state corporate tax returns and charitable solicitation filings a plus
Proficiency with CaseWare and/or QuickBooks is a plus
