Med Surg Assistant Manager - Full-time / Part-time

An award winning hospital in the Washington North Peninsula area is in search of a new Med Surg Assistant Manager.

The Med Surg Assistant Manager will join an organization with a rich culture and reputation in the community and state. 

The Med Surg Assistant Manager will report directly to the Nurse Manager of Med Surg. This person will feel supported by their Manager and the Director of Med Surg, and will lead a fantastic team of Med Surg RNs. This Nurse Leader will have the opportunity to grow and develop their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department. 

The Med Surg Assistant Manager will lead efficient patient care throughout all of the operating rooms. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with physicians and managers in regards to operational issues and addressing problems with staffing and equipment as they occur while the Med Surg Assistant Manager is supervising. The Med Surg Assistant Manager will also be expected to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
