Locations. The Company operates three production plants and one fabrication shop in Green Bay. Immediate openings for will vary based on staffing needs at one of these work-site locations:

• 606 S. Fisk Street (West side)
• 3050 Walker Drive (East side)
• 1326 Cornell Road (Howard industrial park)
• Public transportation. The plants on Fisk Street and Walker Drive are on the bus line.

Shifts, Starting Pay. Current openings in the Maintenance Department will vary based on staffing needs and may include:

• 1st shift: $29.00 per hour plus bonuses, benefits
• 2nd shift: $29.75 per hour plus bonuses, benefits
• 3rd shift: $30.50 per hour plus bonuses, benefits

Advancement Opportunities. The Maintenance Department is committed to career growth and development. Mechanics progress up a four tier system, mastering new skills and competencies with each promotion. Pay increases up to $31.00 - $34.50 with advancement.

Over-time, Double-time. Some weekend work will be required. Ask about our over-time opportunities and generous Double-Time Premium!

Job Duties
- Preventive maintenance on production equipment including conveyors, ovens, and freezers
- Troubleshooting and repairing motors, conveyors, belts, pneumatic systems and more
- Utilizing diagrams, sketches, manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specs
- Removing defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools
- Examining form and texture of parts for wear
- Maintaining equipment, parts, and supply inventories
- Compliance with food industry GMP's, Quality Assurance and Safe Practices
- Accurate documentation to meet stringent SQF recordkeeping requirements
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of technical education or equivalent experience in mechanical or electrical fields is required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability
• Commitment to learning new skills and mastering new competencies
• Tools: employees supply their own industrial-grade tools (list provided)
• Prior LOTO training and forklift certification desired (we will re-certify)
• Must be drug-free and able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests administered at any time
• Strong reading, writing, recordkeeping and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attendance
• Physical demands:
  • Standing, walking 8+ hours per day
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching
  • Frequent repetitive wrist and hand motion
  • Some overhead lifting and reaching
  • Ability to lift +/- 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, step stools
  • Ability to tolerate hot and cold temperatures
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity
• Dress code: Food Safety GMP's are followed in all plant areas. Hairnets, beard nets, and uniforms are worn. No watches, no jewelry, no piercings, no false fingernails or nail polish are permitted. No dresses, skirts, shorts, capris, or pants with holes are permitted. New slip-resistant footwear is required. The company provides a voucher for purchase of safety shoes.
