Job Overview:

Support Unipower with the development of new products as well as support current production via trouble shooting, repairs, and process development for future and existing product lines.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Kit / Check materials against the BOM and WO.
  • Crimp terminations per
  • Assemble ribbon cable wire harnesses per the drawing or related documentations
  • Assemble standard wire harnesses per the drawing or related documents
  • Solder components or remove components from PCBs per the drawing or related documentation
  • Assemble chassis per the drawing or related documentation / specifications
  • Pot assemblies as applicable
  • Burn in finished assemblies if applicable per the specifications
  • Label assemblies per the specifications
  • Package finished assemblies per the specifications
  • Label packaging per the specifications
  • Hook devices up to test benches
  • Program devices
  • Perform function tests on devices
  • Perform ground Test on devices
  • Perform dielectric tests on devices (Hi Pot Test)
  • Apply / assign serial number if applicable
  • Perform torque verification on devices
  • Visually inspect devices
  • Calibrate, electronic subassemblies or finished goods
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic subassemblies or finished goods
  • Participate in developing test procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow company safety policy
  • Follow Workmanship Standards
  • Perform tasks as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager

Qualifications and Skills (Preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Electronics Certification
  • Programming Experience (systems, controllers, rectifiers, etc.)
  • Assembly Experience
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Microsoft Office suite experience
