The Paid Media Strategist will collaborate with all parts of the media organization, working in concert with analysts in the Search, Social, Digital, and Traditional media spaces. Comfort working to build and refine processes, as well as collaborating with other parts of the Ansira team, and external clients is important.
What you will do:
Support creative brainstorming and planning for custom media client partnerships, with a heavy focus on creating niche and holistic brand experiences
Media planning across display, video, audio, mobile and social channels, owning elements of planning and partnering with execution team (in partnership with analyst teams)
Utilize media planning tools such as Resonate, Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer, Prisma, and Forrester for application/analysis into competitive landscape, target consumption support, plan development, and reporting
Monitor trends, tools, opportunities, and applications in paid media environments, and appropriately apply that knowledge
Develop and present media specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives and strategies decks, and other related functions
Create campaign post launch information such as screenshots, links and placement information to demonstrate proof of placement for clients
Manage day-to-day communication with key partners: Vendors, Partner Agencies, Creative Media and Social clients
Report on campaign performance with the ability to distill and curate insights and findings. This includes the development of client performance reports in concert with key client support roles; Client Partners, Engagement Managers
Provide thoughtful collaboration between Strategy, Analytics, Creative, and Engagement teams
Demonstrate ability to work with Ansira media tools, platforms, and partners to deliver against core client needs
Participate in case study development and thought leadership as needed
Experience/ Background:
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field and 6+ years' agency experience required
4+ years of experience in hands-on media planning and execution
Knowledge of emerging media, audience targeting, and segmentation + experience with media planning and buying tools
Strong ability to articulate strategy, rationale, and fresh ideas
Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, consensus-building skills, and leadership abilities
Amazon/eCommerce experience
Strong understanding of search marketing, ability to mentor/guide analysts
High level of confidence, self-motivated, proven leadership experience
Demonstration of strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, verbal, written, and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior today and in the future
Positive and willing attitude, team-oriented, and a strong desire to learn and excel
Open to travel as necessary
