Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking an experienced residential plumber for a full-time position. Must be knowledgeable in plumbing repairs and renovations. Our company is based out of Pearl River, La, but we service the Northshore and Southshore areas.

This individual must possess basic plumbing knowledge and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in residential structures.
• Collaborate with our office staff.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Install waste disposals and water heaters.

Skills:

• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Familiarity with PVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential homes
• Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED certificate
• Journeyman plumber
• 3 + years' experience in the plumbing industry
• Valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18-$30/hr.

Pay Based on Experience

Guaranteed 40-hour work week.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday w/ possibility of OT
• 7:30-4:30

• Journeyman Plumber (Preferred)
