An acute care hospital in Illinois is actively recruiting for an Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology to join their nursing team.

The Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology will work at a 300+ bed acute care hospital located in Maryland that is known for being one of the busiest acute care hospitals in the state. The Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology will work alongside world-class providers and specialists all focused on delivering exceptional, quality care to patients throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and parts of Delaware. 

Reporting to the Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Services, the Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology will join the Women and Children Services department to oversee the inpatient Med-Surg Oncology team. Responsibilities of the Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology include overseeing day-to-day operations, acting as the department resource, staff scheduling, conducting new-hire interviews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting new-hire and ongoing department education initiatives. 

The Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology should be a seasoned nurse with previous management experience and a clinical background working in an inpatient Oncology, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Step-down unit. The Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Oncology is eager to lead, educate, and mentor a nursing team. 

Located on the western border of Illinois, the Assistant Nurse Manager Med-Surg can easily commute from the surrounding Illinois, Missouri, or Iowa suburbs. This acute care hospital is situated in a town that offers an array of activities and delicious dining.
