A hospital located in the Colorado mountains, is actively seeking a Cancer Center Oncology Registered Nurse to join their team. 

The Cancer Center Oncology RN will be a full-time, permanent employee for this growing health system that has provided exceptional patient care for over 80 years. This health system offers an array of inpatient and outpatient services, including a Trauma Center, Cancer Center, Family Birth Center, 

Responsibilities of the Oncology Nurse will include assessing, evaluating, and monitoring chronically and acutely ill patients throughout the Cancer Center. The Registered Nurse Cancer Center will serve as an educational resource for the patients, their families, and new-hire department staff. Working alongside a team of highly specialized RN and LPN nurses, technicians, and ancillary staff allows the RN to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when developing individualized patient care treatment plans. This is a Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm position working at the Outpatient Cancer Center. 

The Cancer Center Oncology Nurse must hold their active RN license with previous inpatient or outpatient oncology experience. Although not required, it is preferred that the Cancer Center RN holds their ONS, OCN certification.
