PACU Nurse Manager - Full-time / Part-time

An award-winning acute care hospital located in central New York is currently searching for an experienced PACU Nurse Manager to join their established healthcare system.

This regional leading medical center is home to over 500 inpatient beds and provides a wide variety of awarded acute care services. This location offers exceptional emergency and critical care, women’s health and birthing services, cardiology, oncology, behavioral health, surgical services, pediatrics, and much more. The PACU Nurse Manager will join a system that strives to provide optimal patient outcomes and promote ongoing community health.

Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, the PACU Nurse Manager will oversee two post-surgical units and manage a staff of 50+ total FTEs. The PACU Nurse Manager will organize the staff scheduling of both units, ensure regulatory compliance, lead professional development and quality control projects, and manage the department's fiscal budget. 

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing BSN 
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of New York 
• Progressive leadership experience in post-surgical setting
