The RN Surgical Services will work full-time in a wonderful acute care hospital. This fast-paced, 150+ bed hospital is known for their advanced expertise and state-of-the-art technologies, supporting them in delivering quality patient care. The hospital currently holds a 4-star CMS rating and is accredited by the Center for Improvement in Healthcare Quality,

Reporting to the Charge Nurse Surgical Services and under the direction of Manager Surgical Services, the RN Surgical Services will work closely with staff nurses to deliver quality patient care. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, medical technicians, and support staff, this person will deliver outstanding, safe care to patients in the Surgery department. 

In this fast-paced, 8+ OR unit, the RN Surgical Services will be responsible for patient assessments, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of patient care. They will work collaboratively with staff nurses and support staff to serve a full range of age groups within the Reno-Tahoe community. 

The RN Surgical Services will meet clinical competencies and use their extensive knowledge to deliver quality care to surgery patients. They will be accomplished and competent in the nursing process, and take initiative when needed. They will be a team player, and support the facility and department goals relating to quality improvement and maintaining Joint Commission accreditation.
