Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

At less than 100 beds, this short term acute care facility is able to provide high quality, individualized care to patients in the surrounding community, offering a range of medical services: 24-hour emergency care, advanced and minimally invasive inpatient and outpatient surgical services, women's health services, oncology, radiology, and more! This hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, is a recognized stroke and chest pain center, and was recently renovated within the past 10 years.

The Medical Surgical RN will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of all assigned med-surg inpatients. The Inpatient Unit RN will work closely with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff to provide safe and effective care. The Medical Surgical Nurse will have the opportunity to provide autonomous care according to hospital policies and procedures, and will collaborate with the Inpatient Services Nurse Director and with other healthcare professionals to ensure delivery of high quality care for patients during their inpatient stays. The Med Surg Staff RN will also be involved in patient discharge planning, providing education to patients and their families for a smooth discharge process.
