Nurse Manager Labor Delivery and Recovery

An established health system located in northern Maine is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Labor Delivery and Recovery to join their accredited healthcare team.

This organization provides access to world-class acute care services to a population of roughly 14,000 people. The inpatient services provided include cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and wound care. This system also provides various outpatient services including laboratory procedures, physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology, chemotherapy, same-day surgery, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, nutritional counseling, home health, and respiratory care.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager will lead the clinical and administrative operations of the Labor Delivery and Recovery areas for the critical access hospital. This location is proud to perform roughly 200 births per year for the rural community. The Nurse Manager will work four days per week with two 12-hour shifts dedicated to clinical work and two 8-hour shifts dedicated to administrative work.  

Requirements Include:

• Graduate of a state approved school of Nursing 
• Registered Nurse RN license in state of Maine or ability to obtain
• Prior labor and delivery experience preferred
