Nurse Coordinator ICU Step Down - Full-time

A quickly interviewing nursing leadership opportunity is now available in beautiful Southeastern Virginia for a Nurse Coordinator ICU Step Down. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced nurse with step down/PCU, or a related specialty to step into a leadership role and begin or continue their nurse leadership career. The ICU Step Down Nurse Coordinator position is a full time, day shift role with three 12-hour day shifts per week.

The ICU Step Down RN Coordinator will join oversee a unit with 30+ beds that cares for higher acuity patients with a variety of medical needs. Commonly treated medical needs on this unit include but are not limited to neuro, stroke, med surg, renal, ortho, and respiratory. The Nurse Coordinator will not only join a great unit, but a great hospital system as well. This hospital system offer excellent career growth and advancement opportunities. 

The Nurse Coordinator ICU Step Down will care for patients during shifts, will serve as a Charge Nurse, assist with unit scheduling, and will service as a resource nurse to new nurses. The Nurse Coordinator ICU Step Down will report to the Nurse Manager and will have the support of an excellent nursing team and Assistant Nurse Manager.
