WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE: Under the supervision of the Inventory/Logistics Manager, this position supports the yard in all areas of loading/unloading in the production area; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year truck loading experience required
• On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties and become forklift certified by Basalite
• Requires good communication skills and ability to listen and follow directions
• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills
• Requires a working knowledge of plant operating and inventory systems.
• Ability to operate a forklift and load/unload trucks, trailers and other vehicles (including ramps) efficiently, quickly and safely in all kinds of weather.
• Regular attendance is required.
