Job Description
A Preschool Teacher that works for Creative Hearts must share a passion for children and a passion for education. The Preschool Teacher provides a structured academic setting to ensure students are at the kindergarten readiness level when leaving the program. The Preschool Teacher plans and implements activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of all children. He/she is responsible for the care, hygiene, learning, and developmental activities, and specialized programs. Communicates directly with parents regarding their child’s accomplishments, academic progress, and daily activities. Maintains classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.

- Maintain an environment (both indoors and outdoors) that is safe, clean, and inviting.
Preschool Teacher Requirements & Skills 3
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education and/or teaching certificate is highly desired.
- Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience
- 2+ years of early childhood education experience desirable
- 1+ years of experience working with preschool and/or prekindergarten age students
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Ability to be flexible in assignments and work hours required.
- Is willing to follow a curriculum that is nature-based and in line with the Waldorf mission, teaching kids through their senses and the arts.
