Catering Driver and Service Lead

POSITION PURPOSE

At Taïm, the Catering Driver & Service Lead drives to, sets up and works catering popups and/or promotional events, ensuring seamless execution. They will ensure a best-in-class experience by upholding our standards for consistently great execution. They are responsible for maintaining the highest level of service and professionalism with our customers and potential clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a role model for Taïm, representing the image and leadership style that is reflective of our core values. They lead by being generous of themselves and their time, engaging the team and customers in a fun atmosphere and never compromising on our high standards.

• Gathers and packs all food and equipment necessary for event. Ensures proper standards are adhered to, using the job aids provided.
• Sees to it that each order is packed correctly, stickers are used and presentation is top notch.
• Delivers food, beverages and equipment to designated areas.
• Sets up the equipment and station for each event on time and as scheduled.
• Loads and Unloads delivery van. Gets gas as needed and maintains service log on the vehicle.
• Stocks and cleans work areas and related equipment.
• Returns dishes, utensils and equipment to the kitchen for cleaning after the event.
• Packages any leftover food: labels and stores food in proper storage area following service.
• Maintains an organized area for catering items in each restaurant that executes these events.
• Effectively builds and maintains relationships with customers.
• Confidently handles customer complaints, concerns or service issues immediately, focusing on finding solutions and resolving issues.
• When no catering business, assists Catering Manager in cold calling, reaching out to potential clients, and delivers tastings with prospective catering contacts.
• Assist in on-the-job training of other event and catering attendees.

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver’s license a must.
• Food handlers license required.
• Basic computer skills including Google and Microsoft suites
• Flexibility in schedule with the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and evenings
• Displays desired qualities and has like -minded values with Taïm
