What you'll do

Our Consulting Associate Directors are responsible for high-level project delivery and oversight along with client relationship management. You will manage teams and advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, focusing on how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes.


What you'll need - AI / ML / Generative AI Capabilities

  • Possess a strong, balance mix of experience and expertise working with across key components of the Cloud technology stack to support clients on their AI/ML/GenAI capabilities (e.g., infrastructure, data and analytics, AI/ML and demonstrated impact across these areas.

  • Broad knowledge of Data, Analytics, AI and Automation Solutions / tools including understanding of various service providers and tools available in the marketplace

  • Knowledge of leading-edge and emerging technologies that drive application design and development such as low code / no code platform, software and platform as a service extension, continuous availability, robotic process automation, chatbots, integration platforms, and mesh application and service architecture.

  • Experience with application/software development lifecycle (requirements, development, testing, deployment), including agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies.

  • Technical / solution architecture experience deconstructing business problems into actions, addressing these with various technologies, specifically AI, ML and GAI.

  • Experience communicating business problems and their AI-related solutions to C-Suite audiences.

  • Consulting experience working with executive enterprise leaders, addressing their mission critical priorities in a project delivery and sales capacity.

  • Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

  • AWS, Azure, Google, IBM or other cloud architect certification, preferred

Consulting Experience

  • Experience applying project management best practices in the management of projects/engagements. A consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of commercial and/or government entities.

  • Comfort selling to, influencing, and building trust-based, value-added relationships with clients is desired.

  • An ability to be hands-on and to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.

  • Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst preferred.

  • An ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal.

  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and the creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems. Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client's most pressing business challenges.

  • Excellence in written and verbal communications. Ability to interact comfortably at the CxO suite audience, equipped to lead and influence business stakeholders' conversations, and to effectively articulate the outputs.

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 136,000 USD - 164,680 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
