Pharmacy Technician

Del Prado Discount Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy with a mission to create medicines that improve the quality of patients' lives. We are looking for a passionate and hard working Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Job Duties:

• Working under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and fills prescriptions
• Enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement/payment.
• Packaging of medication, reviewing and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
• Syncing patients medications for efficient delivery and refills on time
• Call/fax medications requests as needed.
• Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, safe work environment, checking equipment for calibration, safety and cleanliness.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently and efficient in data entry.
• Organized.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
• Be a team player
• Bilingual in English and Spanish 

Job Type: Full-time
