Education Required: LPN/BSN/RN Associates or Bachelors Degree

Job Requirements: Patient vitals & chief complaint. Perform labs. Orders & maintains vaccines. Administer immunizations, antibiotic injections, and oral medications. Responsible for “in office telephone triage”—counsel patients/parents. Retrieve phone messages & return calls for the patient/parent and handle the messages according to the office protocol for the situation. Obtain medication precertification. Retrieve requested medication refills via Patient Portal or phone messages according to office protocol. Complete forms. Order & perform labs & procedures according to office protocol or when ordered by the provider. Triage & prepare patients for exam by provider. Assist provider when necessary during exams/situations. Remove sutures & change wound dressings. Assist with training of clinical personnel. Calibrate spirometry machine daily. Check inventory & rotate stock on all vaccines, medications, and medical supplies.
