Licensed Psych Tech I – $27 – $33 per hour

KPG Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Tech for an on-going assignment at an LA County Psych Urgent Care.

 Location – Los Angeles, CA

Requirements:

• California LPT License – Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians

• BLS (Basic Life Support) with the American Heart Association

• Desired Qualification: Experience working with severely mentally ill clients providing therapeutic support and working on a psychiatric multidisciplinary team.

• Within scope-of-practice guidelines, provides direct client care, completes required documentation, updates treatment team regarding client progress, and provides client, family members and significant others with referrals and linkage to community resources.

Qualifications

· LPT I ($27 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS.

· LPT II ($30 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS with at least 1year of paid experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician

· LPT III ($33 per hour) - California LPT License and BLS with at least 2years of paid experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician.

Job Details and Benefits:

· Pay: $27 - 33 per hour (Pending on experience)

· Shift Time: Varies

· Weekly hours: 40

· Must be available for full-time schedule (40 hours); some schedules require weekend availability.

· Assignment Length: Ongoing
