Job Description:
- Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
- Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
- May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
- Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Execute shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution tasks for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Unpack received goods and meticulously verify them against purchase orders or invoices.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including rejecting unsatisfactory items when necessary.
- Safely operate various material handling devices, including forklifts (experience preferred).
Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Experienced with bar coding and automation tools desired.
- Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
- Experience with reading mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with article 1 inspections and testing
- Experience with Hand tools and calibration tools
- Experience with mechanical assemblies
Typical Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent 2 - 3 years of related experience.
