JRMC has a community hospitalist rotation. We are blessed to have this collaboration; however, realize our need to advance the care and outcomes. We are seeking a Medical Director to lead our next steps and join us in our vision to be the best place for employees to work, patients to receive care and providers to practice.

Seeking:

120, 12-hour hospitalist shifts per year, including 1-in-8 weekends

Additional 8 hours of leadership work per week to include:

  • prioritizing consistent, high quality patient care at the center of decision-making
  • enhancing teamwork and communication among the members of the community rotation
  • establishing your accessibility for consult from hospitalist team members
  • championing the selection and implementation of tele-ICU program
  • monitoring hospitalist team member competency and engagement
  • developing staffing plans
  • governance for policy, procedure and utilization review associated with inpatient care

Package:

  • $350,000 base salary
  • 30 days of Allowed Time Off (ATO)
    • ATO use excludes the minimum hospitalist shifts
  • CME Allowance: 10 paid days and $7,500 in related expenses
  • Comprehensive Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, 401k, etc.
  • Professional Liability Coverage ($1M/$5M)
  • Medical licensure and association fees per Hospital Policy
  • Relocation allowance
