Palliative Care Physician Opening in Beautiful Lafayette, LA

As our programs continue to evolve, we currently are looking for a fellowship-trained Palliative Care Physician. 
Our team is excited to encourage growth of our Palliative Care services, allowing this physician to truly trailblaze the program with tremendous support.
The Lourdes team can offer: 

• Well established inpatient acute care program with a full Interdisciplinary team with 4 Advance Practice Nurses, 1 Social Worker, 1 Chaplain, 1 RN and Manager
• Strong administrative support of program
• Growing Pediatric Palliative Inpatient Program with 1 Advance Practice Nurse
• Provides medical leadership to maintain and improve the Palliative program and acts as an advocate by providing needed communication with other staff physicians and physician extenders through personal conferences, in services, new services and education to physicians
• Assist with Palliative Care consults in both the adult, pediatric and neonatal population. Works with the interdisciplinary team and provides needed guidance and education and Inservice.
