Medical Assistant - Certified

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become part of our team!  You will perform administrative and clinical assignments to keep our medical weight loss facility running smoothly.  

Hours:  Monday - Friday 9 am to 5 pm (minimum of 32 hours per week).

Salary: $20 per hour + Bonus

Job Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree
Experience: 2 plus years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses/Certifications: CPR and first aid certification required; certification as a medical assistant (CMA)

General Role:
Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
Cleans treatment rooms following patient examinations.
Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks.
Prepares and administers medication.
Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment and instruments.
Properly disposes of contaminated supplies
Light clerical duties to include schedule patients, answer phones, update files, take payments..
