*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

A LPN promotes the residents' health, wellness and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. A LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and handles a diverse range of tasks including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures and documenting the clinical data of patients, among other duties.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
* Working closely with others in a fast paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager
* Accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all residents. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
* Handles physician orders, administers medications, collect and maintain resident data, take vitals, assist with resident comfort
* Assure proper procedures are followed at all times
* Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manor

*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
* Degree from accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
* Current CPR certification required
* Education or experience in long term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
* Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem solving, and conflict resolution
* Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
* Strong customer service skills and compassion
