*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

An LPN promotes the residents' health, wellness, and illness prevention through daily nursing and personal care endeavors. An LPN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and handles a diverse range of tasks, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, and documenting the clinical data of patients, among other duties.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

* Helps to fulfill the care requirements of our patients.
* Working closely with others in a fast-paced, team environment under the direction of the Nurse Manager
* Accountable for ensuring that competent care and safety are consistently delivered to all residents.
* This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with assisted living experience.
* Handles physician orders, administers medications, collects and maintains resident data, takes vitals, assists with resident comfort
* Assure proper procedures are followed at all times
* Communicate with residents and their families in an appropriate manner

*REQUIREMENTS:*

* Current and valid license as an LPN in the state of New York required
* Degree from an accredited school or nursing/nursing program is required
* Current CPR certification required
* Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred
* Demonstrate effective communication skills, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
* Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
* Strong customer service skills and compassion
