Carpenter

Koester Construction is looking to add a full-time carpenter to our self-perform team. Koester Construction is a commercial general contractor, known for its culture of teamwork and integrity. Commercial construction carpentry experience is required, and a positive attitude is a must.

A valid Iowa driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this position. The applicant must be physically able to lift, push, pull 60+ lbs, be on time, and dependably show up for work each day. Pay will be based on experience and skill set.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years commercial carpentry experience
• Willingness to work weekends if needed
• Physically able to lift, push, pull 60+ lbs
• Ability to bend, sit, stand, kneel, and walk on uneven terrain
• Ability to climb ladders and work at height
• Valid driver's license (must be insurable)
• Reliable transportation, punctuality, and reliability
• Must own basic hand tools, and have the ability to use/operate basic carpentry tools
