PMC Commercial Interiors, a Best In Class Haworth dealer serving the Carolinas, is seeking qualified Commercial Furniture Installation Supervisors to join our growing Operations Team.

Our Installation Supervisors are highly valued members of our team who are responsible for ensuring overall effectiveness of installation team members by setting and maintaining quality standards for professionalism, teamwork, installation guidelines, attendance, and excellent client service. Individuals in this role provide direction, support, and training for installation team members to ensure quality and consistency to our clients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately recording time, documenting issues, and communicating with PMC team using digital tools and software programs.

  • Providing onsite supervision of contractors and delivery staff.

  • Communicating with the client and keeping them informed on all aspects of the installation.

  • Completing deliveries and installations on schedule and within budget.

  • Maintaining Company procedures, policies, and compliance to Work Standards with assigned crew at all times.

  • Maintaining an awareness of conditions that affect employee safety, consistently behaving in a safe manner, and encouraging others to do the same.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Experience in supervising and training team members.

  • Experience with product moving equipment as well as basic hand and power tools.

  • Understanding of basic electricity and systems furniture electrical component installation.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, technical instructions, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Other requirements include:

  • Valid driver’s license (must maintain in good standing).

  • E-Verify compliance.

  • Ability to satisfactorily pass pre-employment background check (criminal and DMV) and maintain satisfactory status.

  • Ability to pass and maintain DOT certification.

  • Availability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as client commitments warrant it.

  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds – moving, unloading, etc.
