Exciting opportunity to build a level III trauma distinction at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center, a well-equipped, 145 bed community hospital.  The Medical Director will be the 4th general surgeon for the team. 7 on 7 off plus leadership responsibilities. The Medical Director is responsible for being the liaison between the Department of Surgery, its General Surgery Service, the Department of Emergency Medicine and Trauma Services. Must have acute care and leadership experience.
