Full-Time EM Physician opportuinty in Ketchikan, AK

NES Health seeks a Full-Time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center located in Ketchikan, Alaska. 

About the Hospital 

• 25 Bed Community Hospital 
• Owned by PeaceHealth 
• EPIC EMR 
• Level IV Trauma Center 

Coverage includes:? 

• Radiology
• Pediatrics on-call
• Anesthesiology on-call
• Ultrasound
• OB/GYN on-call
• Hospitalist
• 6 bed ICU

About the Program and Hours 

• 8 Bed Emergency Department 
• 7,500 Annual Visit ED 
• 15% admission rate from the ED 
• Both EM and HM physicians respond to in-house codes 
• ED sometimes asked to perform procedures 
• 12- or 24-hour shifts  

Qualifications 

• Active Alaska in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license 
• Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM 
• Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
