Sewing Machine Operator / Laborers TRAINING PROVIDED!

Since 1981, family owned and operated Ohio Valley Industrial Services has been about servicing Industry, Research and Power Generation with a variety of products. This ranges from instrumentation, steam and process system components, and removable insulation covers.

Ohio Valley Industrial Services is looking for a full-time Industrial Sewing Machine Technician for our West Mifflin, PA location. We are looking for a team member that is willing to learn, hard-working, dependable, good organization skills and has the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Duties to include but not limited to:

·Sewing machine setup (changing thread, bobbins, and needles as needed.)

·Single needle prepping and joining

·Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.

·Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production.

·Inspect HotCaps™ for defects, or damage.

·Communicate with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

·Compare physical characteristics of materials or products to specifications or standards.

·Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

·Execute additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
