Our Best-in-Class "Turnkey" services include HVAC & HVAC/R installations, Commercial General Contracting, Energy Solutions, Controls, Service & Maintenance. RMS currently serves customers in the Retail, Grocery Stores, Warehouses & Commercial Food Service markets.

We are looking for experienced Journey Level Refrigeration/Pipe Fitter Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation of HVAC/R systems, as well as a working knowledge of all related safety regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installations & repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of refrigeration systems per customers specifications, applicable building codes & proper piping practices.

• Installation of pipe hangers, hanging, fitting & hard solder of copper pipping to cooler boxes, refrigerated cases, etc.

• Installing cooler box coils & installing supermarket refrigeration systems for both new & existing systems.

• 4+ years of experience in the construction industry preferred with hands on field experience in commercial refrigeration.

• EPA Certification.

• Experience in copper brazing & supermarket remodeling.

• Good driving record with dependable transportation.

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems & piping of refrigeration equipment.

• Knowledge of plumbing & pipe fitting.

• Able to use hand & power tools, good mechanical skills a must.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Perform other duties & projects as assigned by job supervisor.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.

• Read blueprints and diagrams to determine the best installation methods.

• Test systems for proper operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
