Coffee Shop Manager

We are seeking an experienced and organized Coffee Shop Manager to oversee operations and manage staff in our new coffee shop Rhythm & Brews at Fair Oaks and 10. This is a small shop that will require development and growth of a small team. The Coffee Shop Manager is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations, as well as hiring, training, and supervising staff. The successful candidate has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and has a passion for the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth and efficient customer service
• Perform Barista duties while working solo
• Coordinate schedules and manage staff performance
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Manage and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
• Train staff and provide feedback and guidance as needed
• Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
• Monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed
• Manage cash operations and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency
• Monitor competition and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Proven experience as a coffee shop manager or similar role
• Knowledge of the industry and coffee-making techniques
• Strong customer service focus
• Able to lead, motivate, and manage staff
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Experience in cash handling and accounting procedures
