Licensed Vocational Nurse LVN

The Plus Group is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a well known medical facility in the Yuba County area.

Job Duties:

• Support the medical care of patients under the direction of the medical staff
• Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all patient care.
• Provide PPD testing and reading as well as Injection administration
• Administer medications as directed by the provider, start intravenous fluids if IV certified as directed by the provider
• Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action
• Provide basic patient care or treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds
• Record patients' vital signs
• Collect urine samples and perform routine tests directed by the Provider; prepare specimens for testing or lab pickup
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures
• Carry an open panel for patient visits that will consists of BP checks, new patient intakes, vaccines/immunizations, patient education, and more.
• Provide other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirements;

• Current CA LVN license required
• Current BLS certification
• Clear criminal background
• Applicants must complete, immunizations, physical, and drug screen upon pre employment.
