CDL A or B Local Drivers in Odin, IL - Full-time

Platform Waste Solutions is now hiring CDL A or B Local Drivers in Odin, IL, drivers will operate under AAA Disposal. Platform Waste Solutions is an environmental services company that provides waste management solutions for the communities we serve. As a company that serves many communities throughout the United States, we are looking to add another team member to the PWS family.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wages start at $18.00/hr (based on experience) with an average of 40-50 hours per week
  • Perfomance based pay raise after 30 and 90 day evaluations
• Overtime pay after 40 hours worked
• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home daily!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed
  • Shift Times: Vary based on business needs
• Route: Waste/recycling collection services based on assigned routes
• Level of Touch:
  • Varies based on the truck, primarily rear load drivers
  • Loading and unloading waste

Equipment:

• Rearload waste/dump trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Manual transmission available but not required
   

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL B or A license
• Must not have an air brake restriction on CDL
• Drivers will ideally have a minimum of 6 months driving experience
• Drivers must have a clean driving record with no moving violations
• No more than three (3) motor vehicle violations within the last three (3)
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Must be able to pass background check
• Drivers must live within 40 miles of Odin, IL or be willing to relocate for this position
