Service Electrician

We are currently seeking a Service Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Service Electrician. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, as well as electrical components for industrial machinery. We work with both residential and commercial clients, so you must be able to diagnose and repair electrical wiring problems in a variety of homes and commercial buildings, such as outlets, lighting, servers, and electronic equipment connections. Our ideal candidate has at least two years of professional experience and has extensive knowledge of different types of electrical networks.

• Review job calls each day and plan out materials needed for pick up prior to arriving on the job

• Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair

• Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary

• Troubleshoot and ensure that the electrical system is working properly before leaving client location

• Maintain and store tools and equipment properly

• Understand and willing to use out electronic management software for time and job info

• Have a clean driving record

• Be willing to work in a residential and commercial environment

• Must have own hand tools

• Be willing and able to work longer hours, evenings and weekends if needed to complete the job

• Be able to work out of town on a M-F basis when needed

Required Skills and Education

- Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship

- Current electrician license - 5+ years of electrician experience preferred

- Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques

- Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Green Light Electric is a up and coming company servicing both residential and commercial customers. We provide electrical construction and service for customers in central Florida. We are currently looking for remote positions to service Levy, Citrus, Marion Sumter, Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. This is a remote position that will operate from their home as a base. We provide health, dental, life and vision insurance. We also offer very competitive pay.
