CDL A Regional Dedicated Dry Van Driver in Oklahoma City, OK - Full-time

Family owned and operated for over 40 years, Stevens Trucking is seeking CDL A Regional Dedicated Dry Van Driver in Oklahoma City, OK to haul dry-van freight from Oklahoma City, OK to our customers throughout in IA, NE, AR, KS, OK, TX & MO.

We have always recognized that, probably because even our owner still maintains his CDL. Over the years, a lot of carriers have lost sight of what really matters - treating others the way they deserve to be treated. At Stevens Trucking, we mean it when we say, we treat drivers as family and not a number.

Compensation:

• Average weekly pay: $1,575
  • Base 63 CPM with an average of 2,500 a week
    • Earn up to 5 CPM in bonus pay
  • Minimum weekly guarantee: $800
    • Must be available for dispatch throughout week to earn weekly minimum guarantee
  • Additional pay: Layover pay and stop pay
  • All miles paid, loaded and unloaded
  • Bonuses include:
    • Quarterly Fuel Bonus – up to 4 CPM
    • Quarterly High Mileage Bonus: 1 CPM
    • Quarterly Safety and Performance Bonus - $500
    • Clean Inspection Bonus - $50
    • Driver Referral Bonus - $3,000
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Reset over the weekend and sometimes there will be a day while you’re out running that you will land back in the OKC area and can take your 10-hour break at home
• Schedule/Shift: Most shifts between Sunday afternoon between 12pm - 4pm with your last loads of the week on Thursday afternoon finishing Friday night or Saturday
• Route: Dedicated run from Oklahoma City, OK to IA, NE, AR, KS, OK, TX & MO
• Level of Touch: All no-touch dry-van freight
  • Mainly multi-stop with most unloads taking 15-30 minutes on average
  • $12 for each additional stop after your first one

Equipment:

• Late Model Freightliner Cascadia’s with option for Satellite TV
• Automatic Transmission
• Governed speed: 68 mph to start
  • Can increase as long as driver does not receive tickets

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience 
• No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in last 3 years 
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and a new DOT physical
• Hiring Radius: Driver should live within 50 miles of Oklahoma City, OK
