***$1,500 Sign-on Bonus for Qualified Full-time Applicants***

We are seeking emotionally intelligent individuals who are enthusiastic about working with the youth and strive to ensure a safe/secure home-like environment for our clients. High school diploma required. Active driver's license with reasonable driving record is required. Starting wage for youth care workers is $14 per hour.

Description:

Provides care and supervision to youth in our residential center(s) helping them to grow and mature at an age-appropriate pace. Ensures client’s basic human needs are met by assisting the resident with activities of daily living. Models positive behavior and effective problem-solving techniques in behavior management.

Duties

• Assists youth with daily activities
• Performs tasks including but not limited to making beds, doing laundry, preparing meals, washing dishes, ironing, cleaning, bathing, dressing, etc.
• May purchase and prepare meals and groceries for the youth
• Administers oral medication written under doctor prescription.
• Plans and organizes daily activities
• Transports resident to and from school
• Supervises visitors in compliance with contact orders
• Provides a safe and secure environment to youth
• Transports youth to extracurricular activities and outings
• Provides structure and guidance to keep youth safe
• Completes daily documentation to support care provided

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED required
• Experience: At least 1 year of related experience preferred
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Active driver's license with reasonable driving record, qualify for our commercial insurance plan
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
