Hiring Journeyman Commercial Plumbers in Charlotte, NC. Long term project based work on new commercial construction.

 Responsibilities: 

• Install; water, gas, waste, and other piping systems in commercial environments from start to finish of project
• Inspect structures, locating and marking positions of pipes, connections, and passages within walls and floors. 
• Utilize blueprints or technical diagrams following state or local building codes
• Troubleshoot and test installed piping systems and pipelines. 
• Assemble, install, maintain, or repair plumbing fixtures utilizing correct procedures and hardware. 
• Promote, maintain and adhere to QLM standards and OSHA regulations
• Perform manual tasks such as: bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Maintain clean and safe work environment + Recognizing and correcting job site hazards
• Consistent focus on Safety, Productivity and Quality

 

Job Duration: Long term project based work/ Opportunity to hire on directly 

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience within the residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing industry
• Experience in layout and installation of all sizes of PVC, copper, acid waste, and cast iron pipe
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
• Must be available to work 7 AM to 3 PM Monday through Friday at minimum 
• Have plumbing specific hand tools
• Must have reliable transportation 
• Must be able to pass a Drug Test  
• Ability to lift 50Ibs
