Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail oriented Warehouse Associate that will primarily focus on the accurate stock keeping and movement of inventory in our fast paced auto parts facility. Someone with a growth mindset, initiative to seek and tackle projects, and general willingness to learn more as situations arise is the type of person we are looking to grow with.

This role will include using a PC or RF scan gun, working on inventory projects, allocating items around the facility, seeking and creating space for new products, clearing product off the dock, and any special projects in our warehouse on any given day depending on facility needs.

In this general warehouse role, bulky and small received goods will need to be processed to their proper inventory sections or driver route bins and locations via RF scan guns with use of our inventory software.

Accuracy, ability to learn, and utilize our software functions will be the key to success in this role. Order picking for internal transfers or stock movement will be part of this role as we try to make our warehouse as efficient and streamlined as possible. This also includes picking for our internal dealerships, ecommerce facility, and shipping departments.

This role may possibly require use of an order picker machine to go up and down in the aisles to put bulky items away at times. Experience welcomed, but will certainly train.

This role will possibly require situational loading and unloading of trailers with a forklift. Forklift certified a plus, but we will train the right person also.

Responsibilities:

-Assemble, organize, sort, and scan inventory for stock keeping verify qty's

-Check for damages, and ensure accuracy of incoming parts for stock perform cycle counts and bin checks as necessary

-Pick parts for customer orders, stock transfers, and inventory moves as needed

-Assist internal associates with part inquiries as needed

-Use of RF scan gun to scan parts to stock as well as tracking bins and receiving

-Use of machinery to put stock away at higher, unreachable bin locations in the warehouse(or ability to learn)

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in a warehouse environment

-Previous stocking and picking experience

-Experience with inventory related projects

Ability to handle physical workload moving and lifting auto parts

-Ability to multitask and prioritize

-Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment when applicable

-Strong organizational skills

-Strong attention to detail

-Good time management skills

-Experience using a cherry picker or battery powered lift a plus

-Experience using RF scan guns and inventory software

-Great work ethic and excellent attendance

-Ability to learn and execute tasks in a timely fashion

-Experience with general warehouse machinery a plus but will train. Pallet jacks, forklift, cherry picker, etc.

Schedule can be flexible. M-F 6-2:30, 7-3:30, 8-4:30

PART TIME SCHEDULE (30-35HRS) COULD BE CONSIDERED DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY.
