Our thriving Internal Medicine practice is looking for a professional who believes that patients should be treated as people, rather than numbers in a file and understands the value of compassionate service. Medical Assistant Job duties include but are not limited to;

• Taking medical histories
• Preparing patients for examination
• Assisting the physician during exams
• Performing basic laboratory tests, including drawing blood
• Instructing patients about medication and special diets
• Preparing and administering medications as directed by a physician
• Transmitting prescription refills as directed
• Taking electrocardiograms and PFT's
• EMR experience a must.
• Prior Authorization
• Front desk experience (handling phones, insurance verification, appointment scheduling)
