Scaffold Builder Job Summary

Our organization has immediate openings for Scaffold Builders. You will erect and break down temporary scaffolding and rigging for commercial and industrial projects. We prefer applicants who have experience working in the field , but we will also consider those who have a vocational degree and some construction experience or a background in carpentry. The ideal candidate must be proficient with standard power and hand tools and able to follow all industry-related safety regulations. All staff must complete OSHA safety training before starting work. You must also be comfortable working in high places and have the physical strength and stamina to work outdoors and standing for extended periods.

Scaffold Builder Duties and Responsibilities

• Read blueprints for scaffold projects
• Construct and secure scaffolding around construction projects
• Inspect your work for safety issues
• Break down the structure once the project is complete

Scaffold Builder Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship or professional experience (preferred)
• Basic math skills
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Physical endurance and strength
• Communication skills
• OSHA training
