Sorter / Processor - PT

The Sorter/Processor is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to assist in the operation of the Sorting Rom.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sorting
1. Sort and process clothing, linen, shoes and accessories received as donations.
2. Assist with moving donations to the sorting table as needed.

General
1. Assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment.
2. Handle all donations with care.
3. Immediately report theft, injuries and any unsafe equipment or conditions to management.
4. Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
6. Other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor, Store Supervisor, and/or Administrator.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Ability to effectively communication with supervisors, coworkers, beneficiaries, donors and customers.
3. Ability to understand and follow directions.
4. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
6. Ability to lift 35 pounds.
