Job Description
  • Administers first aid and prescription medication (under the direction of a health care professional) for the purpose of providing emergency and necessary care in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Assists members for the purposes of supporting ISP goals and objectives.
  • Collects proper documentation for the purposes of meeting the required items for program participation and/or parent/ guardian/ DDD approval.
  • Coordinates employer and agency partners for the purpose of meeting DTA pre-vocational and life skill education objectives.
  • Counsels, models and assists student members for the purposes of developing skills desired in the community and workplace.
  • Drives Certitude Group vehicles for the purposes of transporting members over scheduled routes or field trips, in a safe manner.
  • Guides Certitude Group members in completing DTA pre-vocational and behavior goals (e.g. personal interactions, personal hygiene, conflict resolution, etc.) for the purposes of ensuring they stay on task and complete their workplace education and instruction in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
  • Maintains a variety of confidential and non-confidential manual and electronic records and lists for the purposes of documenting activities and/or providing reliable information to the DTA Director, for programmatic oversight, compliance and progression, daily.
  • Monitors and compiles monthly member evaluative data, for the purposes of identifying areas requiring additional training, progressive job completion techniques, and methods for maintaining solid work habits, integrative development, and advancements of other skills (objective and non-objective identified).
  • Performs other duties as assigned for the purposes of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of all program members.
