Receiving Clerk (4090)

We are currently looking to hire Receiving Clerks at our location in Barberton, OH!

Hours: Monday - Friday
6am - 3pm

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00
Depending on Experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Unload and process all inbound deliveries to the Company, via forklift or by hand.
• Sort all inventory, and separate containers specific to a job number or name and locate racking area for storage.
• Process the receipt of purchase orders systematically through ERP/CRM/Receiving modules via computer.
• Update job information/backorder status in the FMS and Pick systems.
• Assist in labeling all returns with the date and job name.
• Assist in ensuring inventory is sorted on the shelves for ease of pulling.
• Assist in material pulling process as necessary or instructed.
• Assist in the processing of returned material from job sites as necessary or instructed.
• Assist in cycle counting as directed.
• Work with the Purchasing Department, Plant Manager, and Project Manager to determine if returns should be shelved or given to the Transportation Department to be sent back to the appropriate vendor.
• Work with the Purchasing Department to ensure all orders are pulled from inventory and given to the Transportation Department so they can be shipped to the job site in a timely manner.
• Any other assignment/task directed by management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in shipping & receiving is required.
• 2+ years of experience in the plumbing and/or pipe fitting industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of mechanical fittings, basic construction, and ability to read a tape measure required.
• Must be able to work OT when required.

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Preferred)

Required qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 2+ years of experience in the warehouse & production industry
