CNC Lathe Set-up/Operator- All Shifts

American Performance Technologies (APT) is looking CNC Lathe Setup/Operator for our Stockton. APT is a new and growing company in the heart of Silicon Valley. The ideal candidate will be able to work from customer blueprints with minimal supervision. Able to set-up different types of CNC Lathes. Prototype and production.

Equipment and Control:

Yama-Seiki / Fanuc Series Oi-TD Control

Haas DS30SSY / Haas Control

Requirements:
*Working knowledge of GD&T
*Perform all CNC Lathe setups
*Create setup books clearly defining each process.
*Work with department The Leads and Operators to "hand off" process.
Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
*Inspect and measure finished products to ensure requirements have been completed properly.
*Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
*Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
*Minimum 5+ years of CNC Lathe set-up experience.
*Experience with commonly machined materials, such as stainless steel and aluminum.
*Experience with high speed machining a plus.
*Ability to work in fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
