Certified Medical Assistant

Qualifications

- Certified Medical Assistant

- 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting or as a care manager

- Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally

- Must possess a good understanding of medications and chronic illnesses

- Must be able to type and operate between different software

- Must be self-driven and willing to learn new processes

Responsibilities

- Will provide care for 300-400 patients a month

- This includes monthly wellness calls including health coaching, medication refills, identifying care gaps, referrals, and scheduling appointments

- Job duties are done telephonically with little face-to-face interaction

- Communicating with patient's providers and being able to relay information effectively

- Must be able to develop relationships with patients and communicate effectively with them
