Accounting Assistant

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices. This position will also be a backup to the payroll department.

Responsibilities:

• Enter Accounts Payable invoices into our accounting system
• Issue Purchase order numbers
• Match receiving documents to invoices
• Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
• Knowledge of payroll functions and payroll taxes. This position is a back-up to the payroll department
• Perform all other office tasks to include answering the phones and meeting and greeting customers at the front door

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
• Experience in data entry
• Experience in payroll and payroll tax functions
• Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to interact with other employees and contractors and vendors
